DON-BUR PARTS DEPARTMENT RELOCATES

The DON-BUR Parts department has now been re-located to the main manufacturing plant in Mossfield Road, Stoke-on-Trent, to improve communications and enhance the "One-Stop-Shop" company policy.

The successful parts division, supplying a wide range of OEM and third party parts, was previously located independently in King Street, Stoke-on-Trent and the move is one in a series of major company decisions designed to improve operational efficiency.

Ian Eastwood, Parts Manager says, "When we are asked for parts for a DON-BUR built vehicle, we have to access detailed information about the original build, including the full Bill Of Materials. The new direct IT communication links with the engineering department are instantaneous and tie in with the 3D engineering software, giving us immediate and reliable information to pass on to the customer or repair shop. The closer proximity to the main manufacturing plant also assists in a greater understanding and appreciation of every process, including newer, more innovative componentry."

Richard Owens, Marketing Manager adds, "Our customers appreciate the "One-Stop-Shop" company structure. From the chassis manufacture through bodybuild, curtain manufacture, livery, MOT's, accident repair and refurbishments, all vehicles are supported throughout their whole life process offering one, convenient and fully accountable point of contact."

The DON-BUR Parts Division offers all DON-BUR original parts as well as a wide range of parts from other manufacturers.
