Feature Detail: StrapUp Rave-to-Rave Load Restraint System

If a vehicle does not comply with EN 12642 (load containment using stress rated curtains and body construction), EN 12640 recommendations state that all loads should be secured to the bed of a vehicle using rave-to-rave lashings.

In reality, it is very difficult to use rave-to-rave lashings when a driver would find it difficult to throw a strap over the load. The very action of "throwing" a strap over a load introduces significant health & safety risks.

The answer then is to have a rave-to-rave strap that is suspended in the roof area, so that a driver simply has to pull it down over the load. The Don-Bur "StrapUp" system does just that.

Features

  • Straps retract all the way into roof space when not in use
  • Easily accessible by a driver at ground level
  • Strap pairs can be pulled easily from end-to end.
