The DON-BUR curtain and cargo control division, under the name "Sapphire", manufactures high quality PVC curtains and cargo control systems for the DON-BUR group. The direct trade side of the business provides products and services for all types of commercial vehicles and allied trades.

Curtains:

Using the most advanced type of high frequency welding techniques, Sapphire can manufacture any type of curtain construction and carries up to 30 different colours of PVC fabric in stock at any one time. They also offer an overnight repair service for damaged curtains; normally delivering within 24 hours after receipt.

"FLASHADS" are rapid application, cost effective duplex advertising banners for commercial vehicles.

Specialised curtains carry instant impact full colour graphics and form a second skin on almost the entire surface of curtain or GRP sided vehicles. This innovative system allows for advertising campaigns to be extended to individual commercial vehicles and fleets, maximising market penetration. The unique DON-BUR attachment system provides superb durability and, under test for a 9m urban trailer, takes under five minutes (per side) to remove an old Flashad and replace it with another new one.

Cargo Control:

Sapphire's range of load restraint systems cover everything from basic curtain straps through to sophisticated individual designed full cargo restraint systems. Manufactured on computer controlled sewing machines and cutters they can produce goods of a consistent quality and excellent longevity.
