Longer Semi Trailer Trial Update

Don-Bur has contacted the DfT again following our last update on 31st January, stating that the Longer Semi Trailer Trial would be extended to include another 1,000 LSTs and another 5 years in duration.

The DfT has confirmed that the internal process is almost complete and formal application guidance will be issued imminently.

To ensure that our contacts are kept appraised of all progress, we will be in regular contact with the head of the project and will post updates via email and on our website accordingly.

The DfT has again suggested that the number of allocations per operator is likely to be capped and has also confirmed that the new extension will be open "to all operators".
